Il Conventino is located on an outcrop in Monti Rognosi National Park, a unique geological formation and designated nature reserve.

A theatre nestling beneath the terraces, seating 200, is available for concerts and musical productions

A concert in the chapel

In 2006, there were concerts in the chapel which featured the Bartholdy Trio and Elisabeth Wingfield. There was also a performance in the amphitheatre from the University of Washington as part of the Arezzo festival.

We also held a concert of Pianisti di Anghiari and an extravaganza of viola and violin by music students from London under the tutelage of Robert Turrell.

Along the several paths which lead up from Il Conventino, you can climb to the ridge of the Monti Rognosi mountains for views of Montauto castle and Montedoglio lake
